Rangoli - An Indian Folk Art

You will totally amaze how this young lady easily doing the Rangoli like there's already a template that she follows.
Rangoli, also known as Kolam or Muggu, is a folk art from Indian in which patterns are created on living rooms floor, courtyards or any open space using materials such as colored rice, dry flour, colored sand or flower petals.

Rangoli art is usually made ruling the Diwali, Onam, Pongal and other Indian Festivals. They are meant to be sacred welcoming areas fro the Hindu deities generation to the next, keeping both the art form and the tradition alive. The Rangoli art are traditionally done by women. Most designs are ranging from simple geometric shapes, deity impressions, flower and petals shapes, birds and other intricate designs derived from Hindu deities.


Kuwait Has Announced a Six-Day Break for Eid Al Adha

Kuwait businesses will be closed from Tuesday, September 22 until Sunday, September 27, 2015 a government statement said.
Eid Al Adha, the latter of the two Eid holidays in the Muslim calendar, is expected to start on September 23, 10 days after the sighting of the moon of Dhu Al Hijjah.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is expected to announce a four-day break, September 23-26.

What is Eid Al Adha?Eid al-Adha means "Festival of the Sacrifice" also called the Feast of the Sacrifice, the 'Greater Festival". And is the second of two religious holidays celebrated each year by Muslims worldwide. It commemorates and honors the willingness of Abraham to sacrifice his promised son, Ismael.

As an act of submission to God's command, before God intervened, through is angel and informs hi that his sacrifice has already accepted.

The two Eid Holidays that are yearly celebrated by Muslim worldwide are Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.

USD29 Seat Sale as Cebu Pacific Air celebrates its 1st Kuwait-Manila Route Anniversary

The Philippine’s largest airline, Cebu Pacific Air (PSE: CEB), marks the first anniversary of its Kuwait-Manila operations with a USD29 seat sale.
The seat sale period is from 1 September to 3 September, or until seats last, for travel from 1 January 2016 until 30 September 2016. Quoted fares are for one-way seats, flying non-stop to Manila, and are exclusive of travel products such as baggage allowance and meals.
CEB is the only airline operating non-stop between Kuwait and the Philippines. It launched direct services last September 9, 2014. After the seat sale, lowest year-round fares start at USD239.

Alex Reyes, general manager of CEB’s long-haul division, said: “This special seat sale is more than 80% lower than our lowest year-round fares. We encourage everyone to take advantage of this seat sale for the best holiday deals or the most affordable homecoming opportunity.”
